Dear Parents,

Welcome to Telfair Montessori. I am happy that you and your child are considering becoming a part of Telfair Montessori. As parents, one of the most important decisions you will make is where your child’s education will begin.

The Montessori approach to education is one that believes your child can reach his/her full potential by nurturing a child’s desire to learn. By applying the Montessori Method, our teachers focus on the whole child with lessons that encompass children’s cognitive, social/emotional, and physical development. Our commitment to this method drives everything we do to ensure that all students are allowed to find their sense of independence and become self-directed learners, flexible thinkers, and creative problem solvers.

The best way to understand what Telfair Montessori has to offer is to visit and experience the classroom first hand. While on a tour, you will be able to see our children actively engaged in lessons, hands-on experiences, and peer learning. We believe you will truly appreciate the Montessori process of education. You will see the wide scope of the curriculum starting with the core subjects of math, science, and language arts.

We invite you as parents to become active participants in our learning community. Whether you are volunteering with class projects or with school functions, we welcome and value your commitment to your child’s education.
